Mick Potter says he is determined to lead St Helens to Challenge Cup and Super League glory, after it was confirmed he would be moving to Bradford for next season.

Potter, 46, will join the Bulls at the end of the current campaign it was announced today, but he has re-affirmed his commitment to the Saints cause for the rest of 2010.

He said: “Although I’m looking forward to the challenge at Bradford next season, my only focus for the next three months is the St Helens Club.

“Like the players, I’m desperate for success in the Challenge Cup and Grand Final and the fans can be assured of my total and undivided commitment to fulfilling both of those ambitions.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Saints and appreciate the opportunity which they gave to me; I aim to finish with a record of achievement.”

Potter led Catalans to a Challenge Cup final in 2007 and helped Saints to a Super League Grand Final in his first season at Knowsley Road in 2009, where they lost to Leeds Rhinos.
