Jake Emmitt is the latest guest on the Love Rugby League podcast!

Recorded earlier this season, the former Super League forward joins us to discuss his career.

Emmitt, 33, also discusses his time with Toronto Wolfpack and French rugby league, having spent time with Carcassonne.

Emmitt made more than 250 career appearances across stints in England and France.

The Warrington-born forward made his professional debut for St Helens in 2008, going on to make 19 appearances.

He then moved to Castleford ahead of the 2011 season, spending three seasons at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.

His list of teams include Salford, Leigh and Swinton. He was also a part of Toronto’s journey, joining them in 2017. He made more than 50 appearances for the Wolfpack. He was a part of their inaugural season in League 1 and won promotion with them before returning to the Centurions. Emmitt discusses his time in Toronto and the experiences he had in Canada.

Emmitt also spent time in France with Carcassonne. He made his debut in the French Magic Weekend in 2019. He then returned to England with Barrow, winning the League Leaders’ Shield in 2021.

He has also won six caps for Wales on the international stage.
