Paul Aiton suspended for dangerous tackle

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats hooker Paul Aiton has been suspended for one match.

Aiton, 28, submitted an Early Guilty Plea to the offence of making dangerous contact with Salford City Reds player Martin Gleeson in a Super League Round 18 fixture on Monday June 10.

Danny Washbrook of Wakefield and Salford’s Jacob Emmitt also submitted Early Guilty Pleas to Grade A charges of punching in the 46th minute of the same match. Both players lose the right to submit Early Guilty Pleas for 12 months.
