Hull KR have handed new deals to Craig Hall and Nick Scruton but have confirmed a list of nine players that will leave the club.

Chris Clarkson, Ben Kavanagh, Danny Tickle, James Donaldson, Brad Clavering, Kieren Moss, Jordan Walne, Matty Marsh and Liam Salter will all depart KCOM Craven Park after helping the Robins secure their Super League status in The Qualifiers.

Hall, 30, returned to the club from Leigh before the last game of the regular season and he scored 14 tries in eight appearances.

He said: “I couldn’t be happier to be staying here for another year, when the opportunity came around for me to come back to Rovers it was a no-brainer for me and I have loved the last few months being back at the club.”

Veteran prop Scruton, 33, joined Hull KR ahead of the 2017 season and has agreed a new one-year deal.

He said: “I’m over the moon to agree a new contract with the club, I have enjoyed my time here over the past two seasons and I am already looking forward to getting started again with pre-season ahead of what promises to be an exciting 2019 season.”
