Pair cited for fighting

Three Championship One players will appear before the RFL Disciplinary Committee on Tuesday charged with fighting and dangerous contact in the Hunslet Hawks v Workington Town match on Thursday August 5.

Hunslet Hawks hooker Richard Chapman and Workington Town’s Jarred Stack have been charged with Grade A offences of fighting in the 71st minute of last Thursday’s game at South Leeds Stadium.

Charlie Wabo of Hunslet has been charged with a Grade B offence for making dangerous contact in the 39th minute of the same match.

Hunslet centre Tom Haughey and Workington player Paddy Coupar received cautions for fighting in the 71st minute whilst Hunslet scrum-half Paul March was cautioned for behaviour contrary to the true spirit of the game in the 39th minute.

The charges and cautions were issued following a meeting of the RFL’s Match Review Panel.
