Paea charged with illegal use of knees

Mickey Paea of Hull FC will appear before an independent RFL operational rules tribunal on Tuesday, charged with the Grade B offence of raising his knees in a tackle.

The incident occurred in a tackkle on Jamie Jones-Buchanan in Thursday night’s game against Leeds at the KC Stadium.

Paea was charged after the offence was considered by the RFL Match Review Panel on Monday.

There were no other charges brought from Super League Round 4 matches.
