Ottawa Aces have made their second signing, another half-back, in the shape of ex-Widnes scrum-half Tom Gilmore.

Gilmore, 26, came through the academy at Widnes and made 58 first team appearances, leaving at the end of last season to join Halifax, who he played for twice.

His capture follows on from Ottawa’s first ever signing, French half-back Louis Jouffret from Featherstone.

In July 2018, Gilmore was selected in the England Knights Performance Squad. During his time at Widnes, he had loan spells with North Wales and London Broncos.
