North Queensland Cowboys sign former Leigh forward Lachlan Burr

North Queensland Cowboys have signed former Leigh forward Lachlan Burr on a two-year deal from 2021.

The 28-year-old has made 76 career appearances for Canterbury Bulldogs, Gold Coast Titans, Leigh and New Zealand Warriors.

Burr spent a season with Leigh in Super League in 2017, making 25 appearances for the Centurions.

Cowboys coach Todd Payten said: “We’re really excited to bring Lachlan to North Queensland.

“He’s a big body, he’s got a good motor and he’s physical.

“On top of those on-field attributes, he’s a dedicated professional and a really good person.”
