Normington makes pro return with Hawks

Hunslet have completed the signing of centre or back-row forward Jake Normington from East Leeds ARLFC.

Normington, 24, is a former Leeds Rhinos junior who had a spell at Keighley and a two-game stint with Hunslet in 2013.

Hawks Director of Rugby Darren Williams said “Jake has had a strong season for East Leeds in the conference and fancied having another crack at the professional game.

“He is a strong ball carrier who is determined to make the most of this opportunity and have a real tilt with us at Championship 1.”
