Murdoch-Masila sidelined for two months

Exclusive: Salford forward Ben Murdoch-Masila could be out for more than two months as he recovers from a knee injury.

Murdoch-Masila hurt his knee with his first carry in Sunday’s friendly with Rochdale.

Love Rugby League understands the back-rower will be sidelined for between eight and 10 weeks.

He will miss at least Salford’s first five games of the season.

The Red Devils take on Wigan at home in round one before matches against Huddersfield, Leeds, Warrington, Wakefield and Castleford.
