More than £40,000 raised in memory of Danny Jones

More than £40,000 has been raised in memory of Keighley Cougars player Danny Jones, who passed away at the weekend.

Jones, 29, suffered a suspected cardiac arrest during a League 1 match against London Skolars.

Tributes have been pouring in from throughout the rugby league world, including international team mates, other players, RFL officials and fans.

The Wales international leaves behind a wife and five month old twins.

Keighley have confirmed that Jones’ number six shirt will be retired in his memory.
