Moore slugged with four game ban

Wakefield hooker Scott Moore has been given a match ban for eye-gouging.

Moore was charged with eye-gounging Widnes’ counterpart Aaron Heremaia.

The forward pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of the Grade E offence.

Wakefield chairman Michael Carter tweeted this evening: “If you didn’t laugh in this sport, you’d cry every minute!! Good job I use humour as a weapon!!”.
