Moore linked with police incident

Wakefield hooker Scott Moore was allegedly involved in an incident on Friday morning that saw a police officer assaulted.

A 28-year old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and a serious police assault early on Friday morning.

The man fled the car after a police chase ended in Leigh. He resisted arrest and was tasered, and later taken to Salford Royal Hospital with a head injury.

More details are being sought and Wakefield have been approached for comment.
