London’s James Mendieka and Castleford’s Jordan Tansey have both been charged by the RFL disciplinary panel following incidents at the weekend.

Mendieka, making his Broncos debut on loan from Swinton, has been charged with committing the Grade B offence of using his knees in the 21-14 win over St Helens.

Meanwhile, Tansey has been charged with committing a Grade A careless high tackle on Salford City Reds winger Danny Williams in the 61st minute of their game on Saturday.

Both players have until 11am on Tuesday morning to submit Early Guilty Pleas in relation to the offences.

Hull KR prop Con Mika was issued a formal caution for a dangerous contact on Kevin Sinfield during Rovers’ defeat to Leeds on Sunday.
