McGuire and co return for Leeds clash; Rhinos injury update

Three former Leeds players, including Danny McGuire, return to the Hull KR squad to face the Rhinos at Craven Park this Sunday.

McGuire, man of the match in the Super League Grand Final before switching clubs in the off-season, is joined in the 19-man squad by ex-Rhinos Chris Clarkson and Robbie Mulhern, after all three missed last week’s Challenge Cup win over Oldham.

Also back in the squad is Justin Carney, with Matty Marsh, Josh Johnson, Will Oakes and Will Dagger missing out.

Leeds welcome back Brad Singleton, who missed the one-point defeat at Hull last time out.

The Rhinos are still missing forward Mitch Garbutt, who has had minor surgery on his knee and is expected to be out for at least another six weeks.

Liam Sutcliffe is also facing another four or five weeks on the sidelines after a reoccurrence of his foot injury during the recent game against Wakefield.

There is still no timescale on the return of full-back Jack Walker, but Nathaniel Peteru is fit again after his bicep injury and has been made available to play for Featherstone on dual-registration.
