Sydney Roosters have announced that half-back Luke Keary has signed a new three-year contract with the club.

The deal keeps the 28-year-old at the Tricolours until at least the end of 2024.

He has made 148 career appearances, 85 of those with the Roosters since joining in 2017 from the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

In 2020, he has scored six tries in 14 appearances.

“From the top down, there’s a really good group of people involved at the Roosters, and I’m excited to have my long-term future locked in here,” said Keary.

Head coach Trent Robinson added: “Luke is a leader and a student of the game who brings energy to everything he does. He’s also a good person, so it’s great news that he will continue to play his important role here at the Roosters in the coming years.”
