London bring in Aussie half-back for relegation scrap

James Gordon

London Broncos have signed half-back Brock Lamb on a short-term deal from Sydney Roosters.

Lamb, 22, fills the void created by the loss of Morgan Smith with a dislocated shoulder.

Coach Danny Ward said: “We are excited to have Brock on board for the remainder of the season.

“With losing Morgan to injury and Jimmy Meadows picking up a decent ban, it left us a little short in this area and we needed to strengthen.

“Brock is a quality young half-back who we hope will give the squad a boost going into the final phase of the season.

“He came with some decent raps from our people in Oz and is a former team-mate of Yatesy (Luke Yates) so I am sure he will fit right in.”
