Darren Lockyer has increased speculation he may join an engage Super League club after ruling out a move to rugby union.nnThe stand-off’s contract at Brisbane Broncos comes to an end after 2009 and it is believed a number of Super League clubs are interested in signing him.nnLockyer, who previously said he would consider all the options, told the Australian media that a switch to union was not an option.nn“Rugby league’s given me so many great things and this club has as well,” he said. “There might be an opportunity out there to make a bit more money but I think I owe the club and game plenty.”nnLockyer, 31 years old, will make a record 298th appearance for the Broncos this weekend.
