Leigh have signed Australian forward Dayne Weston for next season, with the player inking a two-year deal which begins in December 2016.

The 28-year-old has made 10 first grade appearances for the Storm this season.

“I am delighted to add Dayne to our 2016 squad and am looking forward to him adding good value to our group both on and off the field,” said Leigh coach Paul Rowley.

“He joins us from Melbourne who are a club renowned for their excellent culture as well as their enterprising brand of rugby league and so as we endeavour to progress and better ourselves he is just the calibre of person we were looking for.
