Leigh hooker joins Workington on loan

Leigh hooker Declan O’Donnell has joined Workington on a one-month loan deal.

The Ireland international has made three appearances for the Centurions this season.

O’Donnell came through the academy at Wigan and linked up with Leigh in the off-season.

He will spend a month with League 1 side Town under their newly appointed head coach, Chris Thorman.

O’Donnell, who represented Ireland at the European Championships last autumn, is in contention to make his Workington debut on Saturday.
