Leeds, St Helens and Wigan players dominate England Youth squad
Leeds, St Helens and Wigan have eight players each included in England Youth’s latest squad for 2019.
A 68-player National Performance Squad has been selected by England Youth coach Danny Wilson and assistants Mark Applegarth and Anthony Atherton for the 2019 season.
The selection includes representatives from 13 clubs across Super League, Championship and League 1.
Leeds Rhinos, St Helens and Wigan Warriors lead the way with eight players selected from each club, whilst Warrington Wolves and Castleford Tigers have seven.
Huddersfield Giants have six representatives included, London Broncos and City of Hull Academy have five and Wakefield Trinity have four.
Championship outfits Bradford Bulls and Widnes Vikings have four and three representatives respectively. League 1 side Newcastle Thunder have three players selected.
England Youth will play a number of International Test matches later this year which will be confirmed in due course.
