Krisnan Inu heads for exit as Lezignan march on

Former Catalans, Widnes and Salford centre Krisnan Inu is set to leave Elite Championship leaders Lezignan, according to reports in France.
Inu, 34, has made six appearances for Lezignan, scoring one try.
But Treize Mondial reports that he is leaving due to “personal reasons”.
He didn’t play against Toulouse in the Elite Championship at the weekend, and could be of interest to Toulouse’s Super League side.
Inu scored more than 400 points in just under three seasons at Salford, before joining Lezignan in the winter.

On the pitch, Lezignan made it 10 wins from 10 by defeating Toulouse 50-20.
They found going tough in the first half, with tries from Maxime Stefani – named in Toulouse’s 21-man squad for the Super League game with Salford – and Ben Laguerre helping Toulouse remain within six at 22-16.
A Thomas Lacans interception try gave Lezignan breating space and although PJ Lima pulled another back for 28-20, that proved to be Toulouse’s final score.
Jean Baptise-Bousquet scored a hat-trick to send Lezignan home, with James Maloney kicking seven goals.
Lezignan now have a healthy cushion at the top of the table after Carcassonne suffered their second consecutive defeat.
The Canaries went down 34-16 at Albi, who secured an important win for their own play-off aspirations.
That result enabled Limoux to jump up to second with a 54-0 drubbing of basement boys St Gaudens.
In the weekend’s other game, Avignon stole a march on those around them with a comfortable 46-6 win over Villeneuve.
