Koukash reveals Hock’s move to Leigh

Salford owner Dr Marwan Koukash has wished Gareth Hock all the best before his expected move to Leigh Centurions.

The troubled back rower has been confirmed as leaving Salford this week, and the Red Devils owner took to Twitter to pass on his best wishes to the player.

Koukash tweeted, on Wednesday evening: “Would like to wish @gazhock12 all the very best at @LeighCenturions.”

Later, however, he added: “I apologise to @LeighCenturions . I thought the Hock signing had already been announced as I had heard it on Sky Sports.”

Hock’s move to Leigh is expected to be officially confirmed later on Thursday.
