Koukash refutes Lui speculation

Salford owner Marwan Koukash has denied halfback Robert Lui is set for a move to Leeds.

Lui, who joined Salford from North Queensland at the start of 2016, has been linked with a switch to the Rhinos.

The 26-year old played 29 games for the Red Devils this season.

Koukash told a fans’ forum last night that Lui is staying put.

“Rob Lui is going nowhere,” he said.

“He’s definitely not going to Leeds.

“He’s contracted and wer’e in constant contact and look forward to extending his contract whe he’s back here.

“So no, he’s not going anywhere.”
