Koukash hints at more transfer dealings for Salford

Salford owner Dr Marwan Koukash has issued a rather cryptic tweet, hinting that the Red Devils may have more transfer targets on the horizon.

Koukash has pursued an aggressively acquisitive transfer policy in recent seasons, with some of the game’s top players joining his club.

He tweeted: “The club will support Iestyn Harris in the pursuit of any player he wishes to sign.”

While no names have been revealed, the tweet could be significant in light of recent events in Auckland, New Zealand.

Sam Tomkins will be leaving the NZ Warriors at the end of the season. While Wigan have first option on the England full-back, other clubs are bound to be interested in acquiring his services.
