Keighley Cougars coach Paul March said his team will have to raise their intensity this week following their 42-10 victory at Coventry Bears.

“Obviously we were happy with the two competition points but I thought the game was very slow,” he said.

“This week we come up against a Swinton side who did a number on us over at their place. It’s a game which everyone wants to play in, we’re looking forward to it.

“We’re looking to lift the intensity this week and over the next couple of weeks because we’ve got Newcastle next week and Oldham the week after. We’ve got a massive challenge ahead of us.”

Loose forward Ash Lindsay is out with a broken leg.

Looking back at the 96-4 victory over Oxford, Swinton Lions coach John Duffy said: “It was a good performance last week, which is what we asked for during the week.

“It’s a massive game this week against a very, very good Keighley side. We’re going to have to prepare well and be on top of our game if we want to get a result.”
