Toulouse captain Kane Bentley has signed a new deal with the club until the end of the 2020 season.

The 32-year-old hooker has earned 15 caps for France and three caps for Scotland through family heritage, playing in two World Cups.

Bentley played 30 games for Catalans between 2007-10 and has made 74 appearances for Toulouse so far.

He commented: “I’m happy to stay at the club to help the team achieve the main objective which is to qualify for the play-offs.

“I am happy to coach all young people, I want to push them to their best so they can play at the top.

“The arrival of Sebastian [Raguin] is also a very good thing for our group. He’s a hard worker, organised and serious. I look forward to the seasons ahead.”
