Canberra hooker Josh Hodgson will miss the rest of the season after suffering a ruptured ACL.

The 30-year-old sustained the injury in the Raiders’ 20-14 defeat to Melbourne on the weekend, with scans confirming that he ruptured his ACL.

Hodgson will have a surgical consultation this week to determine when he will have surgery to repair the ligament.

Meanwhile, Hodgson’s team-mate Bailey Simonsson will meet with a surgeon this week over his shoulder injury and he will most likely require surgery which will end his season.
