Jacob Fairbank has committed his future to Huddersfield until the end of 2015.

The 22-year old is currently recovering from a wrist injury. He is expected to be back by early May.

Fairbank said: “The start of the season has been great prior to my injury, playing in big games against the likes of Wigan and Warrington.

“These are the games you want to be a part of testing yourself against the best sides, I really enjoyed it and it makes you hungry for more.”

Huddersfield are currently leading the pack at the top of Super League, and Fairbank says that Huddersfield’s potential has been in the pipeline for a long time.

He said: “I’m really happy for the lads so far this season, sitting at the top of the table. Paul Anderson has had a big impact on my career so far since I signed for the club full time and as a former International forward he has great knowledge and tips to pass on.”
