Hull FC have signed Australian half back Adam Dykes from Cronulla Sharks. Dykes has signed a two year deal for the 2008/2009 seasons.

Peter Sharp said: "I am delighted to have signed Adam. He is a very smart player and will provide strong leadership and direction on the field. His left foot will provide a nice variation to our kicking game."

James Rule said: "Adam will be a great addition to our squad. He has formed a outstanding half back partnership with Brett Kimmorley for Cronulla. We have been chasing Adam for some time, Ricky Stuart and Cronulla were very keen to keep him so I am delighted that we have secured his services."

Adam added: "I'm really looking forward to making the move to Hull. I've always wanted to have a shot at Super League and the Challenge Cup. Hull is a great club to try and achieve these goals with."
