Hull KR’s O’Hara out indefinitely

Hull KR have refused to set a date of return for injured prop Ryan O’Hara, saying he will be out “indefinitely.”

O’Hara has been suffering with an Achilles injury which caused him to miss the warm weather training camp in pre-season.

Head coach Craig Sandercock was hoping to have the experienced veteran available before Easter but the club medical staff have now said that looks unlikely.

There has been positive news regarding winger Omari Caro was injured his shoulder in the defeat against Salford.

Sandercock told the Hull Daily Mail: “He doesn’t need surgery on his shoulder which is pleasing. We are rehabilitating him and he’ll be back in a couple of weeks.”

Hooker Lincoln Withers remains a couple of weeks away from the first team whilst Craig Hall is rated 50-50 for the game at London Broncos.

Sandercock added: “Lincoln doesn’t look too good. He’ll be a couple of weeks away, but there is no surgery needed there either.

“We’ll give Craig a fitness test later in the week. Hopefully he will be okay. There is a chance Craig could play and it’s always pleasing when you get players back.”
