Hull KR prop Robbie Mulhern banned

Hull KR prop Robbie Mulhern has been given a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle on Huddersfield half-back Lee Gaskell.

The 25-year-old was charged by the Rugby Football League’s match review panel with a grade B dangerous tackle on Gaskell during Rovers’ 22-4 defeat to Huddersfield on Friday night.

Mulhern will miss Hull KR’s Super League clash against Castleford on Thursday evening as he serves his suspension.

Elsewhere, Huddersfield prop Suaia Matagi and Wakefield forward Romain Navarrete were cautioned for dangerous play.

The match review panel deemed the sin-binnings of Wigan’s Liam Farrell and Hull’s Josh Griffin for fighting during Sunday’s match was sufficient punishment.
