Hull FC fans face delays after M62 crash

Hull FC fans travelling to Wigan this evening may face a lengthy journey, due to a serious car accident on the M62.

The accident means that the M62 westbound between junctions 38 and 37 near North Cave has been closed.

Three vehicles are believed to be involved in the accident, with one apparently a tanker carrying alcohol.

The Highways Agency is warning motorists to expect delays of 30 minutes, with normal traffic conditions not expected to resume until 8pm.

That could make travelling across the Pennines a slow business for FC fans, who are on their way to the DW Stadium.
