Huddersfield pair could be out for the season

Struggling Huddersfield could be without Dale Ferguson and Jordan Turner for the rest of the season through injury.

Ferguson, 31, only made his first appearance of the season in last weekend’s defeat to Wakefield, and is suffering from blurred vision, while Turner has a shoulder injury.

Coach Simon Woolford said: “Poor old Fergie is out of luck big time at the moment. It was his first game back for us and he did a pretty good job for the short time he was on the field.

“He’s got blurred vision and we’re not too sure whether he copped a knock or it’s an eye issue but it’s really concerning. We should know more after he sees a specialist tomorrow.

“JT has got a pretty severe ac (acromioclavicular) issue. He’s seeing the specialist today and we’re not expecting great news.

“It could be long term for JT, the scan’s not great. It’s a matter of seeing whether he needs to have an operation or can rehab it.”

Captain Leroy Cudjoe is also set to be sidelined again having picked up a hamstring injury in his first appearance of the season last week.
