There was nothing separating Leeds and Huddersfield after golden point extra-time, with the game finishing 20-20 at Headingley.

The Rhinos were 20-10 up until the 78th minute when Luke Yates pulled one back for the Giants. And then in the final minute Innes Senior went over for Ian Watson’s side to send the game into golden point extra-time.

Both teams exchanged drop goal efforts in extra-time but none of them were successful. Both teams were made to settle for a point.

Liam Sutcliffe, Morgan Gannon and Rhyse Martin went over for Jamie Jones-Buchanan’s side. Jermaine McGillvary and Ricky Leutele scored for Huddersfield as well as Yates and Senior.

Catalans Dragons edged past Toulouse 18-10 in the first-ever French derby in Super League, with almost 9,000 watching in Perpignan.

Joe Chan was sent off for the Dragons for a spear tackle, whilst Toulouse hooker Eloi Pelissier was sin-binned for a shoulder charge on Sam Kasiano. France international Fouad Yaha bagged a brace for the home side.

Castleford Tigers took their winning run over rivals Wakefield Trinity to 17 matches as they won comfortably 34-4 at Belle Vue.

Mahe Fonua, Suaia Matagi, Kenny Edwards, Paul McShane and Greg Eden got on the scoresheet for the Tigers.

Warrington Wolves returned to winning ways after beating Salford Red Devils 32-18 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Toby King scored a hat-trick for the Wolves, with speedster Matty Ashton getting two and prop Joe Philbin with one.

The Wolves had lost their last five in all competitions heading into the match against Salford, so a win would be much welcome by coach Daryl Powell.
