Houghton ready for Hull’s Wigan challenge

Hull FC hooker Danny Houghton is anticipating his team’s toughest challenge of the season, when the Airlie Birds travel to Wigan on Friday evening.

They then back that game up with an away trip to Warrington the following week, and Houghton knows that the East Yorkshire outfit must be up for the fight.

“It will be our toughest so far, especially at their place. It’s a real fortress for them down there,” he said.

“We’ll have to go there with our best game and hopefully we’ll have enough in the tank.

“We’re coming up against two good oppositions in the next two games, so we’re going to have to be right at the top.”
