Houghton crowned Man of Steel

Danny Houghton of Hull FC has been named as Super League‘s Man of Steel for 2016.

He was shortlisted for the award along with Hull FC team-mate Gareth Ellis and Castleford winger Denny Solomona.

Former Leeds fullback Zak Hardaker won the trophy last year.

Hull FC coach Lee Radford was also named as Super League‘s Coach of the Year, after steering his club to Challenge Cup glory at Wembley.

FC also reached the Super League semi-finals in a superb year for the club.
