Hodgson out for three months

Hull KR winger David Hodgson could be out for up to three months with a knee injury.

Hodgson, 32, limped off late in the defeat to Leeds at the weekend, and has suffered a high grade two medial collateral ligament injury.

Coach Craig Sandercock said: “Dave has a high grade two MCL injury which basically means he faces 12 weeks on the sidelines.

“That’s obviously very disappointing both for him, and the team.

“We felt that Dave was really on his game and some of his reads in defence last weekend were outstanding. He’s massively disappointed, as we all are, and he will be a big loss for us.”

Rovers will also be without the services of Michael Weyman at Huddersfield this weekend, after he picked up a two-match ban for a dangerous contact on Jamie Peacock.

Graeme Horne is also struggling with an adductor problem he picked up last weekend.
