Resurgent Wakefield have added promising Warrington half-back Craig Harvey to their growing squad.

Harvey, 22, impressed for the Wolves in their pre-season programme, scoring a hat-trick against Widnes, and has moved to Belle Vue on a one-month loan deal.

James Elston, Wildcats Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to have Craig on board, he is a fantastic talent; we tried to sign him in the off season.

“He will be great for the club and will further increase the competition for places in the team.”

Wakefield came out of administration at the back end of last week and picked up their first Super League win of the season against Catalans on Saturday.

Since Andrew Glover completed his takeover, the Wildcats have signed Josh Griffin and Greg Johnson from Huddersfield, as well as Kyle Amor from Leeds.
