Halifax prop Sam Barlow has been handed a two match ban for his part in a brawl against his former club Widnes in a Championship clash last month.

Barlow, 23, was also fined £50 after being found guilty of a Grade C offence of running in and punching during Halifax’s 30-16 victory.

The RFL Disciplinary Committee also handed down a three-match suspension and a £50 fine to South Wales Scorpions star Loz Wildbore, after he was found guilty of a Grade C dangerous tackle against Oldham in their Championship 1 clash on August 1.

York’s Jordan Ross was found not guilty of a Grade C offence of running in and punching during their match with Swinton.
