Graham ready for Kiwis’ tougher tests

Canterbury Bulldogs prop James Graham is under no illusions that the New Zealand team will be a much tougher prospect for England than France were at the weekend.

England beat an understrength France side by a record margin of 84-4, but Graham knows that the French outfit he faced at Leigh on Saturday is a long way from the Kiwis in terms of quality.

“Obviously, it was a good win for us,” he said.

“We scored a lot of points. I think that, moving forward, the next few weeks aren’t going to be anything like that.

“They’re probably going to be closer games, as recent history tends to suggest.

“But we worked on a few combinations, and we only conceded one try.

“I think we’re reasonably happy with it, but we’re not getting too far ahead of ourselves.

“We’re aware that the opposition next week is a totally different kettle of fish.”
