Fox signs new Rovers deal

Hull KR winger Peter Fox has signed a new three-year deal at Craven Park.

Fox, 24, made his international debut for England against Wales in October, narrowly missing out on Tony Smith’s World Cup squad.

He said: “There is so much professionalism here and I feel that this is the club to help with my England career.

“Tony Smith only picks in-form players and I know I can challenge for a spot while being here, Rovers are a massive club with a lot of ambition and their ambition matches mine.”

Since arriving at Rovers from Wakefield in 2008 Fox has scored 96 points, and is currently fifth in the Super League try scorers chart with nine tries this season.

“I have a lot more to offer, I want to improve my game and score more tries. The more you do something the more experienced you get and I am really up for the challenge”. Fox added.

Head Coach Justin Morgan commented: “Its great news for the team and the club that a player with Foxy’s ability and potential has signed for a further three years, he is a great winger and one of the best in the comp in my opinion.”
