Four Super League players face suspension following incidents at the weekend.

Castleford’s Justin Carney and Widnes winger Paddy Flynn have both been charged with Grade C punching after trading blows midway through the second half of the Tigers win on Sunday, an incident that saw both players sin-binned by referee Ben Thaler.

Flynn has the option to submit an Early Guilty Plea.

Wakefield prop Chris Annakin has been charged with the Grade D offence of making a dangerous throw on Warrington’s Roy Asotasi, while Wolves back-rower Ben Westwood has been charged with the same offence on Wakefield’s Scott Anderson.

The incidents will be reviewed by an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday evening.
