Former South Wales centre Tom Morgan has been handed a six match ban for racially abusing London Skolars forward Lamont Bryan.

Morgan, who was released by the Scorpions “due to a breach of club discipline” back in July, was found guilty of “using offensive or obscene language based on race or ethnic origin” in a Championship 1 game last season.

The 23-year-old failed to respond to contact from the RFL, and the tribunal was held without him.

He made his last appearance for the club on July 1st against Doncaster, and only switched to rugby league last year, moving to Scorpions from Bridgend Athletic rugby union club.
