Fisiiahi to miss Tigers clash

New Zealand Warriors rookie Glen Fisiiahi will miss Saturday’s clash with Wests Tigers due to concussion.

Fisiiahi, 20, caused a stir last week when he was picked ahead of big money signing Krisnan Inu.

But the young winger has not recovered in time from a head knock and will miss the match with the Tigers on Saturday.

He will be replaced by Kevin Locke

“We were set on Glen playing but he took a heavy knock against Parramatta last week and he hasn’t been passed fit to play after failing a concussion test,” said coach Ivan Cleary.

“He’ll be back for sure but now Nobby (Locke) has his first chance of the season.”

The news is another blow for coach Cleary after losing barnstorming winger Manu Vatuvei for the next eight weeks with knee ligament damage.
