Ferres pleas for shirt return

Castleford forward Brett Ferres is calling on all rugby league supporters to help him regain personalised memorabilia that was stolen from his house recently.

Thieves stole approximately twenty invaluable personalised shirts that Ferres played in for England, Wakefield, Bradford and Castleford.

Ferres stated “I’m absolutely gutted. They are invaluable items that hold good memories from my career so far.

“They were all in a bag ready to be framed. It was only when I went to take them for framing that I realised they had gone.

“I’ve had the police involved and everything, there’s no other explanation other than that they have been stolen.

“There are signed Warrington and Australia shirts and a West Tigers shirt from when I played against them in the World Club Challenge.”

“They are irreplaceable to me. If anybody comes across them I’d really like to have them back.”

If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of the shirts, please contact the Castleford Tigers main office on 01977 552 674.
