Featherstone sign ex-Viking Paterson

Featherstone have signed Scottish international loose forward Lee Paterson for the rest of the season.

Paterson, 28, spent the last two seasons at Championship rivals Widnes, before playing for Carpentras in the French Elite League over the winter.

Yorkshire-born, Paterson started his career at Keighley before spells at York and Batley. He played for Carpentras in the 2007/08 season ahead of his spell at Widnes and played for Scotland in the 2008 World Cup Down Under.
