Featherstone defeat Fax

Featherstone have proved too strong for Halifax, defeating their Championship rivals 38-14 at the Shay.

Fax broke the deadlock at home through Ben Heaton.

But Rovers hit back through Josh Hardcastle and Andy Bostock. Halifax made it 10-8 at half-time thanks to a Scott Murrell score.

After the interval they briefly took the lead through Connor Robinson.

But it didn’t last long as Featherstone piled on the points through tries from the likes of Brad Tagg, Hardcatle and Bostock, ensuring a comfortable victory.
