Farah and Moses to lead Lebanon at World Cup

South Sydney Rabbitohs star Robbie Farah will captain Lebanon at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup with Mitchell Moses as his assistant.

Farah will lead the side while Parramatta Eels ace Mitchell Moses has also been named vice-captain for the Cedars’ first World Cup appearance since 2000.

Ex-Eels, Canberra Raiders and Brisbane Broncos full-back Reece Robinson will also return to Rugby League with Lebanon after spending two years with the NSW Waratahs in Super Rugby (Union).

Other big names are Parramatta captain Tim Mannah, Michael Lichaa of Canterbury Bulldogs and Wests Tigers front-rower Alex Twal.

And a lot of other members of the Cedars squad ply their trade in the Lebanese Rugby League domestic competition.

Lebanon will play their first game at the World Cup against France in Canberra on Sunday 29 October.
