England’s Test match against New Zealand at Anfield this October has been pushed back by a day.

The Test was originally scheduled for Saturday, November 3, but it will now take place on Sunday, November 4 (2:30pm).

Everton football club are playing Brighton and Hove Albion on the day when the Test was meant to take place and it has been moved due to the fixture clash.

The Rugby Football League has worked with all parties and the decision to change the date was taken after no other viable solution could be found.

The first Test will take place on Saturday, October 27, at the KCOM Stadium in Hull, with the second Test being staged in Liverpool.

The series will come to a close on Sunday, November 11, at Elland Road in Leeds.
